How to make Boondi for the Boondi Raitha:
- 1 cup Gram flour/besan
- 3/4 cup water
- a pinch of chilly powder
- oil for frying.
- Mix together 1,2,3 & 4 into a flowing paste and set aside for 10mts.
- In a wok,heat oil .
- Put a little of the batter on a frying laddle(that has holes) ,and let the drop of batter fall into the oil.
- Fry on medium flame for 2-3mts,give it some movement so they fry evenly till they are golden brown.
- Remove on to paper towel and store in air tight container.
