How to make Boondi for the Boondi Raitha:

  1. 1 cup Gram flour/besan
  2. 3/4  cup water
  3. a pinch of chilly powder
  4. salt
  5. oil for frying.

Method:

  1. Mix together 1,2,3 & 4 into  a flowing paste and set aside for 10mts.
  2. In a wok,heat oil .
  3. Put a little of the batter on a frying laddle(that has holes) ,and let the drop of batter fall into the oil.
  4. Fry on medium flame for 2-3mts,give it some movement so they fry evenly till they are golden brown.
  5. Remove on to paper towel and store in air tight container.
