Anda masala

Cookingtime:30mts.Serves:4(increasing the number of eggs to 4)

 

What you need:

  1. 3 Eggs boiled, shelled, and halved
  2. 1 large Onions
  3. 1 large Green chillies
  4. 1″ size Ginger
  5. 2 tbsp Gram flour
  6. 1 1/2 tsp oil
  7. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  10. 1 tsp Cummin powder
  11. 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  12. 75ml milk
  13. 2 medium tomato chopped
  14. Coriander leaves – a small bunch finely chopped
  15. Salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Grind onion, green chilli, and ginger to a paste.
  2. Heat a pan  and add 1tsp oil.
  3.  Add the onion paste and saute it till golden brown.
  4. Add the gram flour and saute for a minute.
  5. Add red chilli, coriander, turmeric, cumin, and garam masala powders and saute again for another minute.
  6.  Sprinkle a few drops of water at this time, if needed.
  7. Add the tomatoes and coriander leaves and saute until the oil separates from the tomatoes.
  8. Add salt, milk, 1-1/2 cups of water, and the halved eggs and cook over low heat for 10 minutes or until the sauce reaches the required thick consistency.
  9. Serve it hot with rotis, plain or jeera rice, or bread. Enjoy!
