Instant Rasam

Make powder as mentioned => ‎


  1.  2 tomatoes
  2. 3 cups of water
  3. Jaggery
  4. instant rasam powder(mentioned above)
  5. 1/4 tsp Mustard
  6. 4-5 curry leaves
  7. 1tsp oil
  8. 1 tsp cilantro/coriander leaves


  1. Run 2 tomato in a food processor.Mix with 3 cups of water ,adequate salt and bring to a boil.Simmer
  2. Add a small piece of Jaggery,3/4 of the rasam powder and bring to a boil.Switch off.
  3. Season by splutter 1/4 tsp Mustard and 4-5 curry leaves in 1tsp oil .
  4. Garnish with chopped 1 tsp cilantro/coriander leaves.
  5. Serve hot with rice.
